MENDOTA MENTAL HEALTH
this is the entrance to what was once a very nice, reputable mental health facility. now, the main entrance is scattered with a variety of random items. the doors and windows are boarded up to keep the zombies out. |

DINING HALL
the residents of the base have gone to great lengths to make the dining hall clean. the kitchen still holds many canned and preserved goods that are of use to citizens. everyone eats meals together to keep together the community feel and make sure everyone is accounted for. |

AROUND THE BASE

GREENHOUSE
this greenhouse was originally built so that mental patients could learn to care for something and occupy their time. now, it has become the major means of food for the citizens of the base. many things are grown and harvested here as provisions. |

SLEEPING QUARTERS
with the mental hospital having two floors, there are plenty of sleeping quarters for everyone. being that they once held mental patients, the windows and doors all have doors and bars on them that would come in handy if zombies every breached the perimeter. some of the larger rooms can accommodate entire families while most are only big enough for a person or two. |

THE GROUNDS
despite the doom and gloom of the world, the grounds of the base are actually quite beautiful. a large wrought iron fence surrounds the entire piece of property, but the braver citizens have to work hard to keep zombies out. the citizens have accumulated a few pigs, chickens, and a cow that they use for meal purposes. |

WJJO RADIO
out of all the things that could have survived a zombie outbreak, it seems odd that it was a radio station. but here it is. wjjo was once a metal station but now, the single dj that remains has dedicated it for safety purposes as long as he still has power. he still plays his favorite metal jams and directs people to the base every half hour, giving them directions. if anyone stops, he'll help them out the best he can. but for anyone looking to get a message out, this is your best bet. |

STATE STREET
state street was once a very popular place in madison. many people check out all the stores here to see if they can find anything of use. the capital building sits at the end of the street, and is a stronghold for those who can make it there. |

THE DELLS
before the outbreak, the dells were a very popular tourist attraction. with over twenty different waterparks, the entertainment options were endless. in addition, stores and unique museums lined the streets. but hey, just because no one's taking tickets doesn't mean they can't be frequented. |

CEMETERY
when the outbreak first happened, the dead were attempted to be buried properly. however, with the death toll rising at an alarming rate, bodies were more or less just dumped here. |
